Interior Design Magazine Hall of Fame Awards
The highest honor of the interior design profession
2007 marked the 23rd year of the Hall of Fame awards. The gala drew a sell-out crowd of over 1,500 top international designers, and architects—a veritable Who's Who of the profession.
The Hall of Fame was established to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth and prominence of the design field. Hall of Fame members include such design legends as Mario Buatta, Clodagh, Thierry Despont, Frank Gehry, Albert Hadley, Andree Putman, Philippe Starck and John Pawson. The Hall of Fame is self-perpetuating—that is, the membership itself chooses the annual group of new inductees.
Proceeds from the dinner will be given to the Foundation for Inteior Design Education and Research (FIDER) and Architecture for Humanity, a non-profit organization that develops design solutions to global crises.
Interior Design's 24th Hall of Fame Awards & Gala will take place Wednesday, December 3, 2008
