MetaMetal, a collaboration with Terzo Piano in Milan, highlights the impact of materiality on the built environment, eliciting a visceral response to metal while illustrating its versatility of applications. The images, created by Piano via 3DS Max and Corona Render in conjunction with digital and physical manuscripts of metals, ensure onlookers comprehend the dynamic nature of the surfaces as if viewed in the physical world complete with shifts in light, color, and texture.
