Villa, MetaEstates challenges the notion of a house in the metaverse. Designed by architect Luis Fernandez in collaboration with The Line, Villa, Metaestates recognizes the endless possibilities of the metaverse, from a landscape made of unearthly terrains to a sprawling villa complete with spaces for gathering, displaying digital art, meditating, and entertaining. With the use of water and nature, intertwined with the the lack of physics and materiality of the metaverse, Fernandez creates a harmonious space that feels familiar—complete with custom-designed furniture.
