Office design work continues to be the prime driver, with those fees rising 14 percent to $1.34 billion, 38 percent of the total take. Hospitality (16 percent) and health care (12 percent) were the other sizable money-makers. But look more closely, and you see interesting developments in smaller areas. Government project volume rose more than 50 percent, adding over $200 million to the coffers. Transportation and cultural project volume rose more than 50 percent as well. While they account for less than 3 percent each of total fees, the growth meant more than $80 million to the bottom line. Those totals account for a good chunk of the overall fee growth the Giants saw.
