4 Bold Lighting Introductions

Tripp-Mini by Pelle.

Designer: Jean and Oliver Pelle
of Pelle.

Product: Tripp-Mini.

Standout: At just 7 inches high, the compact version of the designers’ Tripp pendant fixture from 2014 echoes the triangular form of the original but rendered in rust-finished steel plate.

Mozaik by Designheure.

Designer:
Davide Oppizzi
for Designheure.

Product: Mozaik.

Standout: The Dcube founder formed steel cables and LEDs into a modular panel that acts as both light source and partition, in one, two, or five vertical columns by five horizontal rows.

Moira by Porzellanmanufaktur Fürstenberg.

Designer:
Sebastian Herkner
for Porzellanmanufaktur Fürstenberg.

Product: Moira.

Standout: Studio Sebastian Herkner’s namesake takes the manufacturer from dishware to lamps using its renowned earthenware for an iron floor version with shades of unglazed porcelain.

Bell by Tom Dixon.

Designer:
Tom Dixon
of Tom Dixon.

Product: Bell.

Standout: A coating applied via physical vapor deposition allows the designer to update his steel dimmer table lamp from 2013 with an appearance that’s à la Jeff Koons.
