Bjarke Ingels Group Relocates New York Office to Dumbo

In 2015, Bjarke Ingels Group doubled the size of its New York office to a 22,000-square-foot studio in a 1930’s Financial District building. Fast forward three years, and the global firm, led by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, has outgrown its space. The answer lies across the East River in Brooklyn’s bustling Dumbo neighborhood, a creative epicenter and home to design hotspots 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge Park, Interior Design Hall of Fame member Mark Zeff’s residential housewares atelier, Blackbarn, and much more. Square footage of the new studio, located in Two Trees Management’s 45 Main Street, more than doubles to 50,000, symbolic of the ever-increasing scale of the firm’s projects.
