Culture Lab Design Brings Bold-Face Names to Detroit
Paola Navone and David Stark. Kelly Behun and the Campana brothers. Those international design dynamos just made a big splash in the Motor City. Each collaborated with a different local artisan to produce limited-edition products, such as Sebastian Errazuriz’s Rock Lamp, which were then showcased at Culture Lab Design, a Stark–designed pop-up inside permanent housewares shop Nora, where the items will be available through the holiday season. It’s all the brainchild of design curator Jane Schulak, a Detroit native focused on regenerating the city through her organization, Culture Lab Detroit.
