Efficiency, Technology, Functionality and Performance Are Top Qualities Featured During the KBIS 2021 Virtual DesignBites

DesignBites, held each year during KBIS, is the must-attend event for discovering the next best thing in the kitchen & bath space. Participating brands introduce the newest products or concepts changing the kitchen and bath industry, including smart home integration, cutting-edge appliances, multi-functional products and more. This year’s DesignBites, which took place during KBIS Virtual, proved to be just as inspirational and was hosted by Darren Keefe, the dancing carpenter and star of the HGTV show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

While the DesignBites “Biggest Bite” winner was LG, which introduced its new STUDIO WashTower (designed to take up half the floor space), there was a great range of the products — from COVID-19- driven air purifiers and home technology to sleek, decorative hardware and diverse-purpose appliances. Most of the products featured were designed to solve efficiency, technology, functionality, space and performance issues – without comprising the integrity of design. Some of the innovative solutions included maximizing energy efficiency (e.g., speeding up appliance cycles), upgraded smart performance, incorporating whole home technology and making products smaller, but not any less efficient.

Other brands participating in DesignBites, all at the forefront of modernization and design, included GE Appliances, Signature Kitchen Suite, Kohler Co., Miele, Brondell, Control4, a SnapAV Brand and Wellborn.
