Exteta Re-Releases Gae Aulenti’s Locus Solus Lamps

The late Italian architect Gae Aulenti,
famous for designing the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, among other notable buildings, also applied her great talent to outdoor furnishings. Witness her Locus Solus collection from 1964, which is being re-released by Exteta under license to the auteur’s archive. Included is a floor lamp featuring a curved tubular steel stem varnished in a choice of five colors—orange, blue, yellow, green, or white—and an opalescent polycarbonate shade.
