Grain Builds Interior Landscapes with Rugs

Taking a break from home on Washington’s Bainbridge Island, Grain partners Chelsea and James Minola traveled to northeastern Oregon, where the new-but-familiar scenery—think Alpine meets prairie—energized their imagination. Back in their studio, the couple recaptured the experience in Lands, a rug evocative of sprawling natural vistas and crop circles. Each rug is hand- braided and sewn, to order, using natural undyed Canadian wool. Standard measurements are 8 by 13 feet, available in seven neutral shades, but size and color can also be customized.

Lands rug inspired my natural vistas and crop circles.
