#IDneocon: Haworth Debuts Task Chair in Veritable Forest

Fern, baby, fern. Haworth’s new task chair is the result of a nearly five-year collaboration between the manufacturer’s internal design team of Michael Welsch and Kyle Fleet and their longtime partners at Germany’s ITO Design. Interior Design Hall of Fame member Patricia Urquiola introduced the seat in high style by displaying it in a veritable forest. Since the chair’s support structure biomimics the sturdy fern plant, Urquiola surrounded a terrarium of neon-lit faux-fronds with an exhaustive collection of prototypes. Welcome to the jungle.
