Interior Design’s 2016 Rising Giants: Growth

U.S. projects continue to dominate the ledgers—89 percent of the firms do some kind of domestic work. Only 22 percent work beyond U.S. borders, but the international hot spots are changing. Work is up significantly in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Meanwhile, the runaway growth of the Pacific Rim, especially Asia, has in fact reversed, dropping 10 percent. More growth is predicted in the U.S., specifically the Northeast, South, and West—nearly double the number of Rising Giants think so this time, as opposed to last.
