wunderkind Jaime Hayon returns. He’s staying outside entirely this time, evoking the romantic garden statuary of the past via the Gardenia collection of curvaceous vases handcrafted in waterproof terra-cotta.

The six shapes, meant to follow the contours of the male and female forms, range from the organic abstraction of Number 1, with its hoodlike sheltering top, to the relatively reserved, urnlike Number 6. To keep the vases’ contents hydrated, he also designed a gold-accented watering can.
