Jorge Pardo Focuses on Chandeliers at London’s Victoria Miro Gallery
He built an entire house—that was for an exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. In “Jorge Pardo,” at London’s Victoria Miro through March 24, the sculptor focuses on lighting, specifically 10 chandeliers. Untitled, however, is floor-mounted, the color of its PETG, or plastic resin, derived from the jungle landscape of Mérida, Mexico, where Pardo is based.
