Landini Associates Wraps the Sydney Airport’s McDonald’s in Yellow-Tinted Glass Panels

For the McDonald’s at the Sydney International Airport in Australia, Landini Associates served up an ingenious solution. Glass panels tinted the color of the fast-food chain’s iconic golden arches wrap the café’s second story, like a hamburger beacon. In addition to high visibility, the glass also allows views into the bustling kitchen. To streamline food service across both floors, the firm combined conveyer-belt technology with a kiosk-based ordering system. Travelers are reportedly arriving extra early for flights to get their french fry fix.
