Lawrence Lerner: 1985 Hall of Fame Inductee

Lawrence Lerner

Under Lawrence Lerner’s direction, Environetics pioneered the use of computer-generated graphics for architectural design and space planning. The Sears Tower, designed during the period 1969-1974, became a landmark for the firm, and the industry, when all 4.4 million sq. ft. of interior space was designed via an Environetics computer drafting system. Lerner also writes and lectures.
