Market: Next Steps

After making his mark in fashion, photographer Martyn Thompson enlarged his aperture to encompass interiors and still life. Along the way, he acquired a taste for textiles, a predilection he now parlays into a namesake collection of area rugs for Perennials. Random textures borrowed from nature appear across four patterns, including Splash, its splotchy ground available in three standard shades or custom colors. Since the rugs are hand-knotted in the manufacturer’s proprietary solution-dyed acrylic, they’re resistant to stains, spills, weather, fading, and mildew.
