Milan Report: Baccarat Exhibit at the Palazzo Morando
During this week’s Milan design extravaganza Baccarat unveiled its new collection of chandeliers in a well-choreographed exhibit at the 8,000-square foot Palazzo Morando. Celebrating what it calls the French Art de Vivre, Baccarat sets the stage using scenes from Paris as a backdrop to unveil designs from designers such as Philippe Starck, Arik Levy, Jaime Hayon and Louise Campbell.
Above, Arik Levy’s “Torch” is displayed against a backdrop featuring the Eiffel Tower. The indoor and outdoor displays were created by scenographer Soline d’Aboville, who crafted a fairytale world of day and night for the Baccarat exhibit which runs through Sunday, April 14th.
