Milan Report: Hybrid Architecture & Design

A look at several of the installations created for the “Hybrid Architecture & Design” exhibition featured during  Design Week in Milan. The exhibition, which features works of art manufactured from various materials and methods, is co-sponsored by iGuzzini (also the lighting design partner for the installations featured in our slideshow).

The above installation, Autoban with Deborah Milano, is just one of the amazing examples found at the Universita degli Studi. Milano, brand leader for the make-up company Deborah Group, created a structure embedded with 30,000 colorful lipsticks that vistors can reach out and touch as they pass through the portal from one area to the next.

These and other temporary installations can been seen all around the city and at the fairgrounds of Salone Internazionale del Mobile, which starts tomorrow and runs through Sunday.
