Moroso Launches Two Golran Collections in the U.S.

Some distribution agreements are purely marketing pacts. But furniture specialist Moroso, the exclusive U.S. sales agent for rug manufacturer Golran, is an activist distributor. “All our furniture designs come to life through pairing with an exceptional rug,” art director Patrizia Moroso explains. And her company is now hosting the American launch of two Golran collections.

The Paralleli series by DimoreStudio founders Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci blends eras and materials, with the wool-silk ground punctuated by metallic inserts suggestive of updated embroidery. Similarly, Inga Sempé’s Meteo series reinterprets classical Persian motifs in a contemporary vein with patterns such as Mirage, its colored wool and silk yarn intermingling in a blurred mosaic. Choose from several standard dimensions, plus custom sizes.
