Museo Amparo’s Showcases Collection of Sheila Hicks’ Past and Current Works
After an installation along New York’s High Line park, the scene moves south for the winter with “Sheila Hicks: Hilos Libres, el Textil y Sus Raíces Prehispánicas, 1954-2017” at the Museo Amparo in Puebla, Mexico, through April 2. The exhibition presents 120 of the ever-youthful 83-year-old textile artist’s past and new works, the latter including Torsados.
