Nomad Adds 3 Colors to its Recycled Candy Wrapper Outdoor Rug Line

Having introduced a rug collection made of 80 percent wool
and 20 percent recycled candy wrappers in 2018, Hamburg, Germany, studio Nomad’s founder Jutta Werner adds not only three more hues—arctic, clay, and graphite—to the six-color portfolio but also the very first outdoor versions of the eco-conscious dhurries, which are handwoven in India. Even though the new Candy Wrapper Outdoor rugs look and feel as soft and silky as their indoor counterparts, they are made with polypropylene, have high UV stability, and are water repellent. So you can leave them outside 365 days of the year or bring them into the kitchen, office, or bathroom—they’re made to withstand extreme conditions!
