Paola Navone Brings Richly Textured Fabrics to Rubelli
Tangible textures, rich palettes, graphic flourishes. . . Paola Navone must be in the house. In fact, the Interior Design Hall of Fame member is back at Rubelli, with her second collection for the fabric source’s Dominique Kieffer brand. Reloaded, a jacquard-woven blend of linen, viscose, and cotton, sports vertical lines in relief. Pixelé damask, in Trevira CS polyester, is based on an 18th-century textile document from Rubelli’s archives. The multi-toned mosaic of Maquillage is printed on polyester velvet, the robust solids of Passepartout are rendered in yarn-dyed linen and viscose, and double-sided Deux Couches comes in yard-dyed linen.
