It’s official. Obamacare has arrived—and there’s no looking back. Architects and healthcare designers have already begun to encounter smaller budgets and shifting expectations. Fortunately, design can play a critical role as hospitals, outpatient facilities, and pharmacies evolve and adapt. Leading the charge will be designers who help to invent new models for the delivery of affordable care.
