The late architect, product designer, accessibility champion, and professor was too a passionate defender of hand-rendering in an increasingly computer-centric profession. “Drawings are not just end products: They are part of the architectural thought process,” Graves once said. Princeton Architectural Press celebrates his drafting acumen, and renowned earthy-rich palette, with An Architect’s Pencil Set: The Colors of Michael Graves.
