Stars of Design Shine Brightly at the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club President’s Dinner

The Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club President’s Dinner and Gala was a festive affair.

The annual Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club President’s Dinner featured a design-star-studded roster for the ages. The gala is held annually to celebrate each new edition of the widely-celebrated Kips Bay Decorator Show House. This year, the event raised more than $1 million, which will benefit after-school programs at the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in the Bronx.

Interior Design Hall of Fame honorees Bunny Williams and Jamie Drake chaired the gala, which took place at Cipriani 42nd Street and bestowed a lifetime achievement award to architect Peter Marino. Vice-chairs and celebrated designers Alexa Hampton, Mara Miller, Jesse Carrier, and Christopher Spitzmiller celebrated the successful execution of the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

This year marks the 47th installment of the annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Each year, accomplished interior designers are invited to make over an esteemed Upper East Side property. The 2019 show house is located at 36-38 East 74th Street and 22 designers will overhaul the home’s expansive 12,000+ square-feet. The Decorator Show House will open to the public on May 2 for one month.
