Swedish Designer-Manufacturer Team Make CNC-Cut Layers Tables

Layers by Kajsa Willner and AC Snickeri.

Cooperation among compatriots was the theme of Welcome to Weden, the official Swedish pavilion at the London Design Biennale, as 15 designer-manufacturer teams made the case for closer harmony between the two groups. Among the pairings were multidisciplinary designer Kajsa Willner and woodworker AC Snickeri, who collaborated on a trio of tables called Layers, a reference to better the way the CNC-cut slices of engineered wood are assembled in alternating colors. Heights are staggered from 12 to 19 inches, so the tables can stand independently or overlap.
