The Israel Museum Celebrates 50 Years

When Israel looked like the Promised Land, Mansfeld-Kehat Architects designed the Israel Museum, Jerusalem, later renovated and expanded by James Carpenter Design Associates and Efrat-Kowalsky Architects. To celebrate the institution’s 50th anniversary, a year’s worth of special programming kicks off March 31 with “1965 Today.” It presents architectural photographs, re-created room settings, and furniture dating to the ’60’s overall.
