Bentley and Antron Teach 75 Designers How to Collaborate
Flooring manufacturer Bentley teamed up with Antron and Banding People Together for a one-night musical celebration. The two companies hosted a CEU-accredited event on collaborative skills for 75 designers. The gathering took place in downtown Los Angeles at the Edison Hotel, a former power plant restored and owned by Andrew Meieran.
The evening commenced with interactive training to teach the designers ways to enhance their productivity in collaborative environments-skills crucial to a successful design practice.
After Banding People Together performed a musical number, they divided the designers into three groups. The task? Create a band name, write a song, and practice among their team. With 15-30 people writing a song together, honing collaborative skills as individuals and within the team was key. Each group then put their skills to the test by performing their original song for the crowd.
