Design Trust for Public Space Kicks-Off Fundraising Season
Gathering at the Knoll headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, Design Trust for Public Space kicked-off its annual fundraising season leading up to its fall benefit. Founded in 1995, Design Trust has worked to unlock the city’s unfound potential and revitalize the urban landscape. Recent projects have included the work for the High Line and the transformation of the Times Square pedestrian plan. On the horizon, the group is currently working on a project called “Under the Elevated”. Susan Chin, executive director of the organization, spoke briefly to the crowd, thanking them for “continuing to make New York City a vibrant and exciting place.”
