Healthcare Roundtable Looks to Community-Based Design

Nearly 50 designers and manufacturers gathered for Interior Design‘s annual Healthcare roundtable discussion, led by Interior Design president emeritus Mark Strauss and deputy editor Annie Block. The panel took place inside the Merchandise Mart at the Gensler-designed office of Matter, a healthcare technology incubator that fosters innovation via molecules, devices, pharmaceuticals and beyond. Straying slightly from the format of previous roundtables, Todd Heiser of Gensler led tours of the space which were followed by a cocktail hour to continue the targeted discussions.
