Poltrona Frau Debuts First Flagship Store in Miami

Interior Design deputy editor Annie Block and Poltrona Frau Group managing director Nicola Coropulis chat about Miami’s rich design culture.

Miami’s Design District welcomed a new neighbor last night with the grand opening of Poltrona Frau‘s first flagship store and latest showroom. The Italian furniture company’s 4,000-square-foot space accommodated a posh party filled with close to 300 international and local designers and manufacturers.

Deputy editor Annie Block and Poltrona Frau Group managing director Nicola Coropulis explore the brand’s long history of leathership.

Interior Design deputy editor Annie Block kicked off the party with a special introduction to the brand’s diverse portfolio of residential, institutional, and automotive projects, as well as its century-long tradition of “leathership.”

She then interviewed Nicola Coropulis, the Poltrona Frau Group’s managing director. For the remainder of the evening, guests enjoyed elegant seating and furnishings that nicely complemented the natural stained oak floors, gray walls, and dark ceiling of the two-story showroom.
