Andrea Anastasio Deconstructs the Table Lamp for Foscarini

A philosopher turned designer, Andrea Anastasio turns lighting inside out with Filo, a collection of deconstructed fixtures for Foscarini. Electrical wiring, normally concealed, is on full display with the Teodora table lamp, its cord wrapped in polyester or rayon, strung with necklace-inspired handblown glass shapes, and looped around a hook on the powder-coated iron armature. As for the LED light source, it’s housed in a conical porcelain shade. Teodora and the seven other table lamps available will soon to be joined by floor and sconce models.
