Andreu World and Kvadrat Debut Upholstery Collaboration

When it comes to upholstery, fabric and frame go hand in hand. So why shouldn’t manufacturers? Witness Glow, the result of Andreu World and Kvadrat pooling their expertise. The classic wool originally designed by Frans Dijkmeijer has been updated in a modern vernacular by color consultant Giulio Ridolfo. The random, slightly striated pattern is jacquard-woven in a new palette of yarns that incorporate colors Ridolfo has used in his own work for Kvadrat. Among the first furniture frames to inaugurate the fabric: Alfredo Häberli’s Dado sofa, Interior Design Hall of Fame member Patricia Urquiola’s Nuez chair, and Piergiorgio Cazzaniga’s Capri lounger.
