Andreu World’s Reverse Conference Table Embodies the Flexible Workplace Movement

The flexible workspace is king in today’s design practice, and the trend shows no sign of slowing down. The advent of 24/7 digital connectivity has quickened the pace of work, but technological advances have also ushered in a new emphasis on collaborative working not hampered by the protracted pace of analog technology or hierarchical personnel relationships. Undefined alcoves and breakout spaces are the first steps in embodying this trend, but the furnishings are what really transform them into ecosystems of maximal creativity, flexibility, and collaboration.

Andreu World has provided an ideal furnishing option for the flexible workspace with the Red Dot and Best of NeoCon award-winning Reverse Collection, which comprises both conference and lounge offerings. “The Reverse Collection allows creativity and ideas to flow naturally, and professional barriers disappear,” says designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga. “Discussion and collaboration shouldn’t be hindered by furnishings.”

Both solutions feature the Reverse sculptural base, made of 100% recyclable polyethylene. They also share numerous electronic and multimedia plug-ins, wire management, and connectivity aids to seamlessly integrate digital tech into meetings. For ultimate versatility, designers can select a wide range of tabletop shapes, colors, finishes, and sizing options to fit their project specifications. The lounge table sits at an intimate 25.5” high, slightly shorter than the conference line, which encourages more relaxed engagement and cooperative brainstorming.

The Reverse collection, while ideally suited to workspace options, is not limited to just business. Educational spaces benefit from the table’s smart technology and equilibrial design, but Reverse is also suited to contract and residential applications.

“This new way of working blurs traditional structures and gives way to more horizontal environments,” Andreu World said in a statement. “At Andreu World, we offer innovative solutions that coincide with this new way of work to inspire creativity and communication.”
