Atrafloor Mimics Hand-Painted Tile With Vinyl Flooring

When you want the look
of ceramic but
the durability
of vinyl,
Atrafloor
 suggests the
Artist’s Home,
a 10-pattern
gallery that
mimics hand-painted tile.
“Floors are
usually overlooked as a place to display design,” in-house designer Kat Jones says. “The collection helps create an artistic space.” The process begins with Jones hand-painting watercolors on paper. The imagery is then digitally replicated onto rolls of vinyl, losing none of the vibrancy. Among the options are the splotchy squares of Dip and Alto and the blotchy octagons of Coffee. “The pattern can be changed digitally to any requested color,” Jones adds. And it’s slip-resistant, waterproof, and suitable for commercial applications.
