Cristian Zuzunaga Clads Sofas in One-of-a-Kind Pixel Fabric

It was originally for Kvadrat that Cristian Zuzunaga designed Pixel, a fabric that magnified the minuscule digital element. Moroso then used the pattern to cover a limited-edition sofa, but only a few of them saw the light of the assembly line. Now, the combo idea returns under the aegis of Zuzunaga, his line of home furnishings and fashion accessories. Frames in solid birch are padded in polyester foam and fitted with removable covers in Trevira CS polyester. Each Pixel pattern is unique, so no two sofas will look the same—don’t even ask about repeats.
