HCWD Studio Strives to Rediscover Using Daily Objects With Their Tilde Rack, Note Chair and Stool
Industrial designer Hsin-Chun Wang and architect Ye Liu dreamed up the angular Tilde rack in their Long Island City, New York, studio. The modular system’s powder-coated steel frame— sold in sets of two and four—links via magnets to its brethren, becoming a screen, room divider, or coat rack; wool and felt panel inserts are optional. The compact Note chair and stool brandish white oak legs and a sheet-metal seat in white powder coating or copper electroplating, but the color and finish can be customized, too. thehyfen.com
