Although headquartered in Shanghai, Stellar Works has a cross-cultural outlook, tapping a global roster of marquee talents—from Canada’s Yabu Pushelberg to Denmark’s Space Copenhagen. Overseen by creative directors (and Hall of Famers) Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu of Neri&Hu Design and Research Office, the product line strikes a deft balance between Japanese aesthetics, Chinese ornamentation, Italian passion, French luxury, and warm Scandinavian minimalism. Now the three-year-old brand extends its reach to Australia with a collection from ace interior designer Nic Graham. His Chillax lounge chair draws on retro forms, its powder-coated steel frame and solid wood armrests paying homage to mid-century style.
