When it comes to tying together the aesthetics of a space, hardware is an indispensable tool for designers. Carefully crafted fixtures and pulls, especially those made from storied metals, add distinction and depth to any interior. After all, bronze never goes out of style.

But artisanal hardware that melds well with a range of aesthetics is rare. Rocky Mountain Hardware, the leading manufacturer of bronze architectural hardware, set out to change that when it opened its doors in 1994. Now the industry-leading company continues to push the design realm forward with its newest collection, called Element.

The Element Collection features a minimalistic design that allows the beauty of artgrade bronze handles to elegantly punctuate any custom door. Each piece in the collection is available in a range of 12 hand-applied finishes, which are compatible with mortise lock functions, from entry through passage, with more than 150 handle options.

“Designers crave options; they’re always looking for different ways to elevate a space, especially when it comes to hardware, and we created this collection with that in mind,” says Christian Nickum, president of Rocky Mountain Hardware. “Element is a truly unique addition to our existing portfolio, given its simplistic yet bold aesthetic, and we’re thrilled to offer our clients more variety than ever before.”

After more than 25 years in the business, the company also has the advantage of knowing what designers crave most—customization. Drawing on artisanal techniques, Rocky Mountain Hardware produces all of its creations—which include door and cabinet hardware, plumbing, and lighting—in the United States through a time-intensive manufacturing process, complete with finishing touches made by hand. This human-centric process eases the production of custom pieces.

With the Element collection, Rocky Mountain Hardware shows there is strength in simplicity. Each piece creates a subtle yet powerful statement, enabling the overall aesthetic of any interior to shine.
