The Alpha Workshops Celebrates 25th Anniversary a Year Later

The Alpha Workshops, a nonprofit organization that provides decorative arts education and employment for adults with HIV/AIDS, disabilities, and other challenges, is celebrating its 25th anniversary a year late (it’s now in its 26th year) with a virtual gathering. The 2021 Alpha Awards on May 18 will honor awardees & Alpha25* partners Benjamin Moore and Tham Kannalikham, founder and principal of her namesake design firm. Additionally, Jamie Drake of Drake/Anderson, Wesley Moon of Wesley Moon Interiors, and Dana Raines of Highline Construction will make special appearances at the annual event.

Designers and others in the industry have the opportunity to sponsor the event, ensuring the financial impact of COVID-19 doesn’t further marginalize vulnerable adults. In turn, they will receive exclusive perks such as special programming, further promotional opportunities, as well as recognition on 2021 Alpha Awards evites and online media. 

Tham Kannalikham is a current member of the President’s Council at the Institute of Classical Architecture, sponsors God’s Love We Deliver.
