These Hand-Painted Wallcoverings Resemble Pressed Flowers
Resembling a lively tangle of pressed flowers, Late Spring, a wallcovering by Thatcher Studio designer Lindsay Jordan Kretchun, eschews realism in favor of gorgeous hand-painted expressionism, celebrating silhouetted flora in full bloom. “The pattern is uncomplicated, with an almost lyrical configuration,” Kretchun notes. The design is produced on clay-coated paper for residential applications, or Type II PVC-free for commercial ones, and comes in four colorways: chartreuse Sunrise, navy Night, creamy-greige Day, and rusty Sunset.
