Glimpse A Textured Armchair You’ll Want to Feel IRL
Montreal-based artist and Studio Rotolo founder Stefano Giacomello is best known for his hyper-realistic renderings of interior spaces—“decorated” with his own 3D-modelled digital furnishings. Those concepts have now become physical thanks to La Collection Rotolo from Parisian collectible design gallery Boon_Room. One such piece is La Poltrona, an armchair made of a bulky wood-and-steel structure padded with hand-shaped foam to offer up superlative comfort and pleasingly plump proportions (including a seat depth of 65.5 centimeters). Adding to its IRL charm are the multiple leathers and fabrics available, including from the “hairy and textured” category, like alpaca and teddy fur.
