Marc Thorpe Design Masterminds the Classic Car Club’s Manhattan Digs

It may be called the Hayloft, and have an equine-inspired mural, but the lounge at the Classic Car Club definitely does not resemble its former life as stables for the New York Police Department. That’s thanks to Marc Thorpe Design, which masterminded the membership club’s new 40,000-square-foot headquarters at Pier 76 in the Maritime Entertainment District. Among highlights are a retina-widening orange entry, a terrace overlooking the Hudson River, and naturally an automotive showroom, where members can hop in a new Tesla or a 1966 Mustang convertible and hit the road.
