10 Fabulous Finds From Feria Hábitat València 2024
This year’s Feria Hábitat València trade fair, which went from September 30 – October 3, 2024, welcomed visitors to the picturesque Spanish seaside city to view the latest furniture and lighting designs from nearly 700 exhibitors from Spain and fellow European countries, as well as locales as far afield as Turkey and Mexico, among others. From a seating collection inspired by sand dunes to a modular bar collection nodding to Italian beach locales, here are some standout products crafted by renowned designers and showcased in style.

1. Cadenza for Expormim
Spanish designer David López Quincoces revitalizes ho-hum rattan with his Cadenza collection for València-based manufacturer Expormim—including a loveseat, three-seater sofa, two different-sized armchairs, and an extra-large sofa—with backs and arms crafted of the traditional material with a modern silhouette-like take.
2. Porta for Omelette Editions
Madrid designer Omayra Maymó brings us her Porta high-back rectilinear armchair for Spanish lifestyle brand Omelette Editions, an exercise in abstracted brutalism inspired by the entrance portico of the Chandigarh Assembly Hall (designed by Le Corbusier in 1951).
3. Gumi for Ondarreta
Gumi is the latest modular sofa collection by the Spanish brand Made Studio with furniture manufacturer Ondarreta. Its various rounded gummy bear-esque modules allows for infinite configurations including a floating iteration, corner module, optional pouf, or with integrated tables.
4. Catalina for Vergés
Catalina, an efficient stackable chair by designer Andreu Carulla for furniture brand Vergés, offers a minimalist version of a traditional rush seat chair elevated by ash wood, rope, and leather materials.
5. Perxa for Viccarbe
Italian master designer Piero Lissoni lends his touch to a visually-light yet sturdy wooden armchair named Perxa designed for Spanish brand Viccarbe to provide warmth to work environments.
6. Tibo for Mobboli
Local Valèncian design firm Arnau Reyna designed the Tibo collection of poufs and side tables for Madrid manufacturer Mobboli. The poufs come in three sizes with optional integrated wheels for added mobility.
7. Arena for Gandiablasco
Danish designer Søren Rose collaborated with Spanish brand Gandiablasco for the Arena collection inspired by sand dunes. Its form evokes basketry and includes a powder-coated aluminum club chair, armchair, coffee and side tables, two-seater sofa, and a super-fun swing chair.
8. Calma for Andreu World
Designer Benjamin Hubert of Layer extends the Calma collection for renowned Spanish manufacturer Andreu World with cocooning lounge chairs for corporate environments that function just as well in residential interiors. High- and low-back versions are available and an optional wider wingback headrest adds privacy and comfort.
9. Riviera for iSimar
Milan-born Michele Corbani and Andrea Spada formed Ilmiodesign, an interior design firm in Madrid that created the Riviera modular bar collection for steel fabricator brand iSimar, which is ideal for the hospitality market. It is also replete with wavy galvanized rods nodding to 70s Italian beach locales and the ability to spec two-tone hues.
10. Nigiri for Annud
Made of solid wood, MDF, foam, upholstery and ribbon for furniture manufacturer Annud, Nigiri, created by València firm Dibloo Estudio, borrows its form from the Japanese sushi dish.
