invites designers to “create, collaborate and cash in” by entering their

2012 Tx:style Design Challenge

. Following its success over the past few years, the flooring manufacturer has launched the competition for a fourth year, opening it to architects and designers of all ages. Entrants are asked to submit original carpet design concepts, of which the winning design will be placed into production. Submissions will be narrowed down to four designs based on public comments from visitor to the website, aesthetics, creativity and manufacturability. From there, the finalists head to

NeoCon

in June for the final public vote. The grand prize winner will work with Mannington to create a full carpet collection based on their design and will also travel to the Milan Furniture Fair in the spring of 2013. Designers can upload their designs to
