The imminent emerging designer event SaloneSatellite took place during the 63rd edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano and featured work by 700 creators under the age of 35 representing 36 countries as well as 20 international design schools and universities. Now in its 26th year, SaloneSatellite was established in 1998 by present-day curator Marva Griffin Wilshire to provide space, visibility, and professional opportunities for nascent designers. We walked the aisles to discover fresh, eye-catching works with a focus on craftsmanship and its role in the future of design.
