Overgaard & Dyrman Work with Metal and Leather in Intriguing Wire Series
Jasper Overgaard Schlichting and Christian Dyrman Hansen joined forces to realize an intriguing concept: furniture inspired by traditional saddle making and metalworking. Already skilled in the latter, Hansen developed the tools and processes to build the furniture, while Schlichting immersed himself in the intricacies of leather. After hand-building the Wire series prototypes, they established their Overgaard & Dyrman brand and set up a workshop in Denmark to reproduce the samples. The seating range, which consists of dining chairs and bar stools, both available in two heights, as well as a lounge chair and sofa, is offered in four varieties of cowhide culled from the Alpine meadows. As for the steel frames, consider matte-black powder-coat or satin-chrome-plated finishes. Through Fair.
