Up, Up and Away at #IDgiants Day Two
Building—communities, relationships, inspiration—was the takeaway from the second day of Interior Design‘s 4th annual Giants of Design conference in Palm Springs, California. After the morning’s talks by Ron Radziner of Marmol Radziner, Brad Grossman of ZeitGuide, and Michael Phillips of Jamestown, the 100 firms on scene constructed sculptures in cardboard as part of a team building activity, then enjoyed yoga, poolside manicures, and Aston Martin ride-and-drives.
A major surprise was unveiled before sundown: a hot air balloon on the lawn adjoining Gene Autry House at the Parker Palm Springs. Three by three, designers went up, up and away for the conference’s cherry on top.
