NEWH New York Hosts Product Runway 2013

On November 11th, NEWH New York hosted Product Runway, a fundraiser for students working toward hospitality-related careers. Just last month, NEWH New York awarded $30,000 in scholarship funds to students, and the funds raised from Product Runway, and other chapter events, will further promote education in the year to come.

Led by an esteemed board, including chapter president Amy Jakubowski, partner BBG-BBGM, the event produced 16 one-of-a-kind fashion collaborations between hospitality interior design firms and manufacturers.

Of the 16 interior design firms who walked their garments made from unusual materials down the runway, just three were selected as finalists: first place went to Bill Rooney Studio and Lusive Décor; second place went to Wimberly Interiors and SICIS; and third place went to Stonehill & Taylor and RAYDOOR.
